    We had a room overlooking city, the hotel was gorgeous. The beds were exceptionally comfortable and each pet-friendly and good-sized room had a fireplace, a lounge, and a chair. The breakfast was wonderful with a great selection of options in the cafe.

    Wonderfully well managed and preserved old hotel with great staff, friendly atmosphere, and excellent location for local trips for wine tasting. Despite the age of the hotel, the ammenities were updated and well-done and the rooms were huge. An overall wonderful choice.

    The carlton is a beautiful historic building with modern rooms that are perfect. It's conveniently close to several restaurants and brew pubs.     Feel at home in a historical gem
